Quality Wellington Concrete and Masonry, wellingtonconcreteandmasonry.com, hello@wellingtonconcreteandmasonry.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Quality Wellington Concrete and Masonry website, starting from our home page, and any estimate or work you ask us for. By using the site, calling us or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When you sign a written estimate or contract with us, that document governs your job. If it says something different from this page, the signed document wins.
What we do
We're a masonry contractor in Wellington, FL, and we also do concrete work. That includes foundation repair, brick and chimney repair, tuckpointing, pavers, retaining walls, block walls, stone veneer, outdoor kitchens and walkways for homes in Wellington and the cities around it. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
The service descriptions, photos and tips on this site are general information. They aren't engineering advice, and they don't set the scope of your job. Your written estimate or contract does that.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and done on site, because we need to see the masonry, the ground and the access before we can price the work honestly. Asking for an estimate doesn't commit you to anything.
An estimate is our price for the work we can see at the visit. Some conditions only show up once the job is open, such as damaged block behind a veneer, soft soil under a slab or old repairs that have to come out. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree any change in writing before we do the extra work.
Prices hold for the period written on the estimate. Material costs can move after that, so we may need to update an older estimate before we start.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, permit and inspection timing and conditions on site can move that date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (561) 268-0510 as early as you can. If we've already ordered or cut materials for your job, or work has started, you may be charged for those materials and for the work done so far, as your contract sets out.
Payment
Your estimate or contract lists the payment terms for your job, including any deposit and when each payment is due. Please pay by the dates it lists.
If a payment agreed in the contract is overdue, we may pause work until it's caught up. We'll talk with you before we do that.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and insured, and we offer satisfaction guaranteed on every job. If something we built or repaired isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right. Any specific written warranty, with its length and what it covers, will be in your contract.
Our guarantee covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover damage from storms, flooding, roots, vehicles or misuse, ground movement outside the area we worked on, or changes and repairs made by someone else. Materials carry their maker's warranty, and we'll pass along any we receive.
Brick, stone and mortar vary in color and texture from piece to piece, and new concrete or mortar can show small hairline cracks as it cures, so those usually aren't defects. Apart from what's written in your contract, this website and its content are provided as is, without any other warranty.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Quality Wellington Concrete and Masonry isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to this website or our work, such as lost use of part of your property or lost income. Our total liability for any job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under Florida law that can't be limited by agreement.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first, because most problems get sorted out once we're back on site looking at it together. If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.
Any court case about these terms or our work will be heard in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Which law applies
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the day we post them on this page, and they don't change a contract you've already signed.
If you have a question about these terms, reach us through our Contact page or call (561) 268-0510. We respond within 1 business day.
