I come out to see your driveway
Call or send a message, and I come out myself to measure, look at the old surface and answer your questions on the spot. It's a lot easier to talk pavers and patterns standing on the driveway than over the phone.
Tired of a cracked or sunken driveway? We build paver driveways from the soil up, with a packed base made to carry your cars.

Driveway pavers in Wellington are interlocking concrete pavers laid over packed soil, a packed gravel base and a leveled bed of sand, with an edge restraint along the sides to hold them in. Built in those layers, the driveway carries your cars as well as foot traffic.
Most of the calls we get start with a cracked concrete drive or an old paver drive that's dipped where the tires run. The price mostly turns on the size of the driveway, how much old surface comes out, how much digging and base the ground needs, and which paver and pattern you choose. The schedule turns on that same tear-out and base work, plus the weather and any permit the job needs.
When I come out, I measure, look at what's there and write you an estimate that says what we'll do and why, so you're working from your own number and not a guess. If your driveway calls for a permit, we apply for it and set up the inspections. Palm Beach County advises holding your final payment until the permit is closed out, and that's a good habit with any contractor.
I started this business in Wellington in 2020, and I still make the first visit myself. Here's who does what from your first call to the last paver.

I write the estimate right there, and it says what we'll do and why, from tear-out to the last row of pavers. If anything in it doesn't make sense, ask, and I'll walk you through it again.
We're licensed and insured. Once you say yes, our crew does the work and I keep you posted on what's next, so you know when you'll need to park on the street.
Most of the work on a paver driveway is the part you never see. We dig out, pack the soil and build up a packed gravel base before a single paver goes down, because that's what keeps a driveway from sinking where the tires roll. Trade guidance calls for a base at least 6 inches thick under a home driveway on well-drained soil, and that's a fair number to compare when you line up quotes. We'll also help you pick a paver and a pattern that hold up under cars, so the surface lasts as well as the base under it.
A new driveway often brings the rest of the front yard into view. If your drive cuts into a slope or needs a raised edge to hold the soil back, retaining wall construction can be planned at the same visit. If the brick steps, columns or front wall look tired next to fresh pavers, masonry restoration repairs what needs it and leaves the rest alone.
Here's the order the job runs in once you've said yes, and why each step comes where it does.
Before we dig, we have the underground lines marked so the work leaves your pipes and wires alone. Then we break out the old concrete or pull up the old pavers and haul it all away.
We dig down, pack the soil, then add the gravel base in layers and pack each one, because good compaction is what keeps settling to a minimum. This is the step we take our time on.
We drag a thin bed of sand level with a straightedge and lay the pavers in the pattern you picked. Pieces along the edges get cut to fit so the pattern runs clean to the sides.
Edge restraints go along the sides so the pavers can't creep outward, and we sweep sand into the joints so they lock together. I walk the finished driveway with you before we pack up.
Send us the rough size of your driveway and a few photos of the surface you have now, or call (561) 268-0510. We'll get back to you within one business day to set a time, then I'll come out, measure and write you a free estimate on site. There's no obligation and no pressure to book.
(561) 268-0510Usually not, because thinner, larger paving slabs can flex and crack under the weight of a car. Anywhere you'll drive, interlocking concrete pavers are the better pick, and that's what we'll point you toward at the estimate.
Herringbone, laid at 45 or 90 degrees, is what trade guidance recommends where cars drive every day, because it gives the most interlock and strength. If you have another look in mind, ask whether a herringbone layout can fit it, and I'll show you options when I come out.
Concrete or clay paver driveways in Florida usually cost about $10 to $25 per square foot installed. That's the going rate across the state, not our price, and where yours lands depends on the size, the paver, the pattern and how much tear-out and base work the job takes. Your estimate gives you your own number.
Ask to see the contractor's county or state license and their liability and workers' compensation insurance, which is what the county advises. Ask us too, and get the answers before you sign anything.
County law says you have to be certified to contract in a regulated trade, and the county has moved some of its trade scopes under state law, where they no longer need the county's own trade certificate. At the state level, a certified license lets a contractor work anywhere in Florida, while a registered license only covers the cities or counties where they also hold a local certificate. Since the rules don't spell out which license covers paver work, ask whoever you hire which one they hold and where it's good.
We're based in Wellington and work in many of the cities around it, including Royal Palm Beach, The Acreage and West Palm Beach. The driveways we see run from older poured concrete that's cracked through to paver drives that have dipped where the tires run, and the answer is the same base-first work wherever you live.
We pick up at (561) 268-0510 seven days a week, until 10 PM on weekdays and 9 PM on weekends, so you can call after work or use the form anytime.
If you're still deciding between pavers and concrete, I'm happy to walk your driveway with you and talk it through.
